LiGurOS
Is a source-based distribution. Below, you can find our released documentation.
How to install LiGurOS
LiGurOS is easy to install, if you have ever done a Gentoo type installation before. We are going to show you how this can be done in couple of easy steps.
How to pick your release
LiGurOS is meant to be used in production, and we really try hard to test at least the most common combinations of software. We build our system base from source on a weekly basis and this should give you peace of mind to use our OS in your production environment.
Changelogs
Here you can see our detailed package diff output between releases.
Breaking changes between v20.7.2 and v21.1.0
Are you looking for the new stable release? No worries. Stable release v21.1.0 is already here. Sadly, you can’t get it via the normal sync command, as this release includes some breaking changes that make it impossible to automate the update process.
Breaking changes between v19.7.10 and v19.7.11
We try hard not to break compatibility between releases, but going forward and implementing new ideas has to pay its price sometimes. With the new release v19.7.11 there are some changes in profiles that will affect your installations.
Hacking with LiGurOS
We are planning of adding a couple of tutorials here to get you started with coding in your favorite programming languages. The tutorials are not going to be a complete programming language resource, just something to get you started.
